Job Summary:

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and providing companionship. You will help individuals maintain their independence and well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and using proper body mechanics.

- Prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.

- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and changing bed linens.

- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities.

- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments.

- Remind clients to take medications as directed.

- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.

- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures and respect client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

 

- Experience in caregiving, home health care, or a related field is preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
